A practical and operational test is carried out to determine the operation of controls, bearings, hooks, bushings, cylinders, holding valves, bucket progressing systems, outriggers, etc. This test will even find worn swing bearings or gearboxes, worn hooks or bushings, and loose nails important to the whole process of the aerial.
DIELECTRIC TEST (AC OR Electricity)
A dielectric test as much as 100kV as per ANSI standards. The dielectri test certifies the electrical insulation strength within the FRP lower and upper booms, bucket, inserts, FRP extensions on digger derricks, tool circuits, and upper control system.
OPTIONAL TESTS
- Dielectric Tests: Bucket inserts Hydraulic oil to ASTM D1816 standards Hotsticks.
- Oil Spectroanalysis: Chemical analysis of oil in engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems. Determines type and quantity of contamination.
- Us dot Inspection: An intensive inspection from the chassis as per Federal or Condition Us dot. Features a Us dot sticker and something page report.
- Stability Tests: Carried out to satisfy the needs of OSHA/ANSI specifications.
- Thickness Testing: Ultrasound thickness tests are a nondestructive test method accustomed to determine thickness of materials where thickness is crucial and hard to measure with mechanical test equipment.
REPORT and CERTIFICATION
Defects found throughout the inspection and exams are classified for amount of severity and printed on the computerized report. Ttechnicians will evaluate the report using the customer designated representative. A signed and dated copy from the test report listing the defects talked about remains using the representative.
The report is examined by staff engineers and also the final report is mailed towards the designated customer representative. The testing company maintains a duplicate from the test set of file. Models that require rework require verification of repair or retest within the customer file.
